Uttarakhand and Karnataka are paired together to promote national integration through mutual understanding under" Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" programme.Both the states have established relations through sports, trade and culture.

1st Nov. is celebrated as Karnataka formation day or Kannada Rajyotsava. 

 DAV Centenary Public School, Jagjeetpur , Hardwar celebrates Karnataka day to showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of either state for enabling people to understand and appreciate the diversity of India.
